"Stories"
I'm asking myself... should I tell stories or shouldn't I? I kind of like the idea to show pictures without posting big words, you know, show the pictures and everybody can look at them with his own stories, ideas, dreams, thoughts, fantasies...
But what about telling stories in between? Little things like this:
Today I had come over another boy for my new series" boys boys boys!". He came in, and after a short amount of time I had a good feeling about everything and also about him being relaxed. As we started the shooting I began to look for my picture, and I searched for a while. The light.,.. the pose... and so on.But what about telling stories in between? Little things like this:
I know from posing myself that this search can feel quite strange to you as the posing model. Whatever, me being now behind the camera I'm all about for the search.
And then, all of the sudden I remembered my model having still his chewing gum (you can't chew a gum in front of a camera...) so I asked him to take it out. And I got the answer "I swallowed it, accidentally." I was like... no way... come on... but he really swallowed it!
I guess my model was just a bit nervous as I was... Swallowing a chewing gum accidentally... After one second I was back on my search for the great picture.

Diane Is Looking For Boys and Couples To Shoot
Dear blog readers,
Are you looking for a new experience? Ever wanted to pose (half) naked in front of a nice polaroid camera (and behind that a girl)? Maybe you want to have nice pictures of yourself - for yourself or for your Love. This might be your chance:) I'm looking for new and fresh people to shoot. You should be at least 18, max 30, young, good-looking (though not necessary model-like). You should have a nice body and be fun to shoot with and be open-minded as I want to have the option to shoot you topless or naked. Be prepared to sign a model release. Oh, and you should live in Berlin (or nearby or maybe you are visiting Berlin...) I'm mainly looking for boys, but couples are very welcome too. Please write me some lines, you know a little bit about your background, age etc, and your measurements, and please don't forget to attach photos. My email is hello and then dianevincent and then de. This will be for my Polaroid Picture Project as featured here on this blog. And as this is my art project I can't pay anything but you will get scans of the best pictures and one print of the best picture.

Seifenblasen
Seifenblasen. So fragil. Everybody likes soup bubbles. Everybody likes to blow them, watching them floating around. I still have a bottle in my bag from the Hippie Series, and I couldn't resist to take a closer look.

The Hippie Series
The Hippie Series is the first project I did for my Polaroid Picture Project. It's an idea born at the Fusion Festival earlier in the year 2007. I wanted images full of desire and longing for inner peace and soul and for love. It came in a time I was looking to romanticize everything, the people, the nature, the world, myself. I looked to transfigure the everyday occurrence, the loss of emotion. I looked for a way to crystalize in the rays of sunshine.
My shooting notes - besides Hippie, 70ies and Summer of Love - contained: white magic, catching the end of summer, daydreaming and dreamlike, melancholic, shooting stars, making love with the Polaroids.
At the end the Hippie thing... is made up of many soup bubbles and it comes all together under the sentence "All You Need Is Love".
